Zeroland QSO Party Object:
To contact as many stations as possible with a focus on contacting stations in Zero Land(Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota).Date:First Saturday in May

Contest Period:1600 UTC Saturday to 0600 UTC Sunday (11AM to 11PM CDT)

Inside Zero Land
    Single Operator One person performs all transmitting, receiving and logging functions. One transmitted signal allowed at a time.  Use of spotting assistance is allowed.
    High Power (>125W)
    CW/Digital Phone Mixed
    Low Power (<125W)
    CW/Digital Phone Mixed
    Multi-Operator More than on person performs all transmitting, receiving, and logging functions.
    Single Transmitter One transmitted signal at any given time.  10 minutes between band/mode changes.  No power or mode categories. Multi Transmitter One transmitted signal per band per mode at any given time.  No power or mode categories.
    Zero Land Expedition A temporary station setup in a Zero Land state in which the operators do not reside using temporary antennas (put the antenna up for the contest and take it down after the contest). Those using the station of an inactive Zero Land operator need to enter one of the categories above. Mobile Station capable of operating in motion.

Exchange: 
US State or Canadian Province or “DX” for stations outside of the US and Canada. 
59/599 maybe added as needed to satisfy requirements for those that are
working other contests, but a “signal report” is not relevant to this contest.
Bands:160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 plus QSO’s on WARC bands & 50MHz by schedule only.

Multipliers:
In Zero Land
    Each US State (50) (DC counts as MD), Canadian Province (14), and DXCC Country per band per mode (Phone or CW/Digital).
Outside Zero Land
    Each Zero Land state (8) per band per mode.
QSO Points:   
One point for any contacts with stations outside Zero Land. 
Five points for contacts with any stations inside Zeroland.
Bonus Points: 
Scoring: 
Mobile stations that change states are considered new stations each state
and can be worked again for multiplier and/or QSO points. 
The mobile should be logged with the two letter state abbreviation following a / on the end of the
call sign after the contact in the first state.    The Total score is (QSO points * total multipliers) + Bonus points.

Logs:  Only digital Cabrillo logs will be accepted.  Logs should indicate times in UTC,
bands, modes, calls and required contest exchange. All stations include your
station call signs & club's name in the log header or summary.
Entries must be submitted within 15 days of the end of the contest and sent by email to
logs@w0iw.com
Written logs will not be accepted.
